One of the best shows I've ever seen.
If this tour comes to your city, in short, do not miss it! I wasn't sure what to expect going in to the show, being just a casual fan of World Hip Hop Dance Championship, but saying that it exceeded my expectations would be a huge understatement. The show was so good, the set was relentless and whipped the crowd into a frenzy as Rivers Cuomo ran around the stage, jumped on a mini-trampoline, climbed onto speakers and into the balcony, all the while continuing to perform. The first set alone would have been worth the price of admission. The show started with what was more or less a "greatest hits" set, starting with a cut from their latest album and working backwards to their beginning (which I thought was very clever, kind of being in a time machine). They came back for their second set by playing the "Blue Album" in its entirety, in order, and it was just as amazing. I don't think anyone would have minded them coming out for a third set, or at least an encore.
